It all started with a with an accident...
Over 20 years ago, I got into a very bad accident. I was blindsided by a car that ate a red light when I was returning from a movie theater. My car was totaled and I was left with severe neck and back pains.
I was able to get pain killers from my doctor and was told to stretch from time to time. After getting refills, I decided to try a chiropractor whose office was in the next town over, within walking distance from my house.
I visited the chiropractor twice a week for a few months and was amazed at the results. The chiropractor and I had some great conversations about the spine, wellness, and life in general.
After I felt better and my appointment visits were no longer covered by my insurance, I told everyone about the care I received from my chiropractor.
Soon after, I tried to get a new car to be covered by the person who crashed into me. My lawyer said I didn't have a case because there were no witnesses and the people in my car were considered biased witnesses. The cost to continue this lawyer's services kept rising to a point that I couldn't afford. The person who crashed into me was well-connected in the town we lived in, so I was fighting quite the uphill battle.
I dropped out of school because of the missed days, was without a car as the insurance money wasn't enough, and also lost my part-time job.
I fell into a deep depression and ended up having Bell's Palsy. I had to sleep with an eyepatch on, lost depth perception, had trouble eating, and really got devastated at the fact that my face would stay partially paralyzed for life.
I went back to my chiropractor with my father, who I referred. When the chiropractor saw me wearing an eyepatch, I told him what had happened. He told me that he could possibly help with the Bell's Palsy. No way.
He did it. Weeks after seeing him again, my paralysis went away 95%! Words couldn't express how grateful I was.
I firmly believe in chiropractic care. I currently see a chiropractor twice a week. My primary care physician recently told me I looked more cheerful and full of energy. I credited my chiropractor.
I want to help chiropractors expand their offices! I believe in chiropractic care and am a recipient of it in many ways. My wife and children have already begun their office visits and I know the results speak for themselves. But, I also know that word of mouth isn't enough.
